Overview

Calm Island is a parenting support app for emotional guidance, child records, and monthly parenting reports. We design the app to collect as little personal data as possible.

Data stored on your device

Child profiles, event records, app preferences, and generated notes are stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly introduces cloud sync.

AI emotional guidance

When you create AI emotional guidance, the app sends the selected context, such as child age, traits, place, trigger, tags, notes, and parent feeling, to Calm Island's backend and AI provider only to generate the response. The app does not store an AI API key on your device.

Purchases and notifications

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Calm Island does not receive your payment card information. Notification permission is used only for local reflection reminders.
